Arrival at Ben Gurion airport, transfer to the hotel in the Sea of Galilee.
2nd Day
In the Steps of Jesus in Galilee: Visit and be guided through Tabgha, including the Primate of St. Peter and the Church of Breads and Fishes, Capernaum, Mount of Beatitudes, Caesarea Philipi, along the strategic Golan Heights.
Overnight in Tiberias.
3rd Day
Jesus’ childhood and adolescence: we begin in Canaan, where we read about marriage and “First miracle”; Nazareth, Basilica of the Annunciation, Church of St. Joseph, Haifa, Stella Maris; Overnight in Tiberias.
4th Day
In the footsteps of Jesus to Jerusalem: Place of Baptism on the Jordan River, Mt. Tabor, Jordan Valley, Jericho, and finally to Jerusalem! Overnight in Jerusalem.
5th Day
In the footsteps of Jesus in Jerusalem: Panoramic view of Jerusalem on the Mount of Olives, Pater Nostrum, Dominus Flevit, Garden of Gethsemane and Basilica of the Agony. Then we enter the walls of the Old City through the Lion Gate, visit the Bethesda Pools, walk through the stations on Via Dolorosa, Church of the Holy Sepulcher, Dormition Abbey, Cenacle. Overnight in Jerusalem.
6th Day
Visits to the Western Wall, Temple Mount, view of the Knesset, Model of Jerusalem at Jesus ‘time, Ein Karem, including the Church of John the Baptist, and then to the birthplace of Jesus – Bethlehem, Church of the Nativity – Shepherds’ Field . Overnight in Jerusalem.
7th Day
Experience the Desert: Judean Desert, Masada – the last historic position of the Zealots against powerful Rome. Qumran, where many of the Dead Sea Scrolls were found; Time to swim in the Dead Sea. Overnight in Jerusalem.
8th Day
